I'll dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
